Functional Physique is an advanced Training System you can deliver to new clients, that will have you and your clients understanding the body and how it moves in new exciting ways. Training and nutrition are organized for sustainable results, earning the best body shape that can be sustained 365.

You learn how to train the 8 Functions of Muscle with 10 Load Management Strategies and 12 Ways to Overload Muscle. You'll practice the 30 Functional Patterns that we use for active living, work tasks, outdoor recreation and sport actions. Study how to design exercises with purpose, combining 2 or more of the 30 Functional Patterns in ways added muscle and strength transfers out of the gym into higher movement skill and athletic coordination. Program Design periodizes a 12 week cycle of training ensuring what we build in early weeks contributes to higher levels of adaptations in later weeks.

Course Procedure

  2. View the video lectures and read chapter manuals.
  3. Practice the exercises and methods on yourself and then coaching a peer.
  4. Complete the workbook which deepens your understanding. 
  5. Take the test. (You must score 80% to pass. If you do not pass, you may retake the test).
  6. With a successful test, print your certificate designating your certified credential. 
  7. You may choose to not write the test. In this case, print your certificate of completion.
